Are you struggling to wake up early in the morning?

For the majority of my life, I was not a “morning person.” Even when I was in college, I struggled to wake up on time.

I was used to waking up late, skip breakfast, rush to college, miss the first two (sometimes three) lectures, and then not feeling good for the rest of the day.

This type of routine hampers our productivity and take a toll on our physical and mental health.

Now, as a freelancer, I don’t have any time constraints; still, I wake up before 6 AM every day, and I get more done by 11AM than I usually get in an entire day. I am also less stressed, and I don’t skip my morning routine at any cost.

As Lemony Snicket has said — “Morning is an important time of day, because how you spend your morning can often tell you what kind of day you are going to have.”

Why you should wake up before 6 AM?

In order to change, you first have to understand why you want to make the change?

When you focus on the benefits you receive, it becomes much easier to make the habit stick.

You can use the mornings to focus on your passion if you’re in a job or work on a side hustle and generate an excellent passive income.

Some examples to illustrate the importance of why you should wake up early if you want to be a successful person ahead in your life…

  • General Motors CEO Mary Barra reaches office by 6 AM.
  • PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi wakes up as early as 4 AM and reaches to the office every day by no later than 7 AM.
  • Founder and Chairman of Virgin Group, Richard Branson wakes up at about 5:35 AM.
  • Square CEO Jack Dorsey wakes up at 5:30 AM every day.

Notice the trend here. All of these ultra-successful people wake up before 6 in the morning and then follow a routine to start off their day.
